Chicagoland Theatre Fund will make available the streaming of Children of Eden in Concert: The Live Chicago 2022 Staged Reading starting April 23, 2026 at 6:00 pm CST. Tickets will be able to be redeemed through April 26, 2026 at 11:59 pm CST. Once a ticket is redeemed during that window, the viewer will receive a 48-hour period to stream the reading.

This staged reading presentation provides a workshopped concert celebration of this musical theatre fan-favorite score. In addition to a full ensemble and 150-person chorus of students and professionals, the spectacle concert includes a star-studded line-up, including: Destiny Child’s MICHELLE WILLIAMS; Grammy Award winning Christian artist, DAVID PHELPS; Dove Award winner and The Voice finalist, KORYN HAWTHORNE; internet singing sensation, SAM TSUI; and Broadway star, RANDAL KEITH. Children of Eden is a two-act musical theatre piece freely based on the Book of Genesis. With music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Godspell, Pippin) and book by John Caird (Les Misérables, Nicholas Nickleby), Children of Eden features musical theatre hit classics Spark of Creation, Lost in the Wilderness, Ain’t it Good, and more. Exploring the age-old relationship between parent and child, this exciting event provides a celebration of faith, family, and hope.
